The renovation of Buildings 466 and 467, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places, accommodates classified functions including a SCIF, technology classrooms (Classroom XXI hybrids), and administrative support areas. The project consists of approximately 52,800 SF, including a new 1,000 SF enclosed connection between buildings. The architectural focus of historic preservation and restoration was on the building's exterior, while functionality and sustainability became the major focus of the interior design. This design philosophy was dictated by the extremely poor structural condition of both buildings. The project design was executed in Revit BIM.
